Aston Villa veteran Joe Cole has likened Newcastle United striker Adam Armstrong to Manchester City star Sergio Aguero.

The pair are playing together on-loan at Coventry City.

"Armstrong reminds me of Aguero in a way," said the 33-year-old, who played alongside the Geordie in Coventry's 4-3 win over Barnsley.

"In a lovely way, he's selfish for goals and has all the ingredients to be a top player and go on to score many more goals."
