Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has warned Liverpool not to underestimate them.
While the Reds hold a nine point lead from City, who are in fourth place in the Premier League, Jesus is not throwing in the title.
He believes the two time reigning Premier League champions are still discovering their best selves.
Asked by The National if Liverpool were already title certainties, Jesus said: "I think it's still early for me to say anything about this; the season has only just begun.
"Of course, [leaders Liverpool] are playing well, we know this, but we haven't played like we know we can.
"We can play like we did last season and win the title again. It is not easy as this season is more difficult than last season."
