Jenkins reveals Swansea tapping into global commercial opportunities

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins says they're exploring ways to tapping into their growing global profile.

Jenkins has played down talk that the Swans themselves could sell a stake in the club to foreign investors.

But admits: "I think over the last 12 months, naturally with a growth in the Premier League around the world - especially in the US - there has been a lot of interest in other clubs and new investors have come in from other parts of the world.

"The Premier League itself is looking to play different games in Asia, India, South Africa and America as well.

"All these things are going to expand and get bigger and bigger.

"Part of that is trying to build our own club and build a profile - hence why we invested and made a film Jack to a King in the last 12 or 18 months.

"That was done to grow and try to expand the profile of the club and provide us with greater commercial potential."
