Burnley record signing Jeff Hendrick admits he's struggling with the club's rules.

Boss Sean Dyche operates by a strict set of rules at their Gawthorpe training base.

And the £10.5m midfielder admits his ignorance means he is being hit hard in the pocket.

“There are a few rules," he said. “They've tried to stitch me up a few times and Friday when it comes to fines, but I don't know what they are.

“Leaving a bottle around, just silly little things like that gets a fine.

“There's a system put in place but luckily I've had a week's grace. They've let a few things slide for me, but they've been waiting to catch me out.

“I'm on top of it now, but there was no rulebook there for me to study so I'm sort of picking up the rules as I go along."
