The wage demands of Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak scuppered his proposed deadline day move to Stoke City, according to reports.
The Stoke Sentinel is reporting Palace and Stoke had agreed on a £3million fee for the Australian international, only for the Potters to walk away from the deal when Jedinak's representatives issued last-minute financial demands for their client.
Stoke boss Mark Hughes is believed to be disappointed that a deal for Jedinak failed to materialise, as he saw the 31-year-old as an ideal addition to his midfield.
It is understood the failure to complete a deal for Jedinak was also the reason Stoke opted not to sell Jon Walters.
