Javi Gracia has been named new coach of Valencia after signing a two year deal with the LaLiga Santander side.
Los Che owner Peter Lim gave the green light to president Anil Murthy to proceed with the appointment of the former Watford coach.
Gracia convinced Valencia's directors with his vision for the club in an interview that took place last week.
The objective of this new project is to take the side back to the Champions League and build a team of youngsters who will be committed to Valencia.
Gracia, who hasn't had a coaching job since September 2019, managed to clinch promotion with Cadiz back in 2008/09.
