Jasper Cillessen is delighted with his move to Valencia.

The former Barcelona goalkeeper signed for Los Che last month.

Cillessen told Marca: "I want to play and Valencia is a club with a great history, it has a great team and for me it was a great option. That's why I'm here. The most important thing in this moment of my career was to play all matches again and here I have many options to do it.

"I had no problems with Barcelona or with any team. For me the most important thing is to play. It is the only reason I am here. For me, coming to Valencia is not a step back. Between being on the bench in Barcelona or playing in Valencia, playing in Valencia is much better. It is easy. It is not a step back."
