Jardim, Low among four new names under consideration at Arsenal

Arsenal's board has drawn up a four-man shortlist as they consider replacements for under pressure manager Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman, who has been in charge for 22 years, is facing his biggest threat yet as manager that he will be sacked.

A number of replacements have already been lined up in case Wenger fails to convince the board that he can take the club forward.

Manchester City coach Mikel Arteta is believed to be the frontrunner, whilst Germany chief Joachim Low, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, and Monaco's Leonardo Jardim are also being considered, says the Mirror.

After their Carabao Cup defeat to Manchester City, the heavy backlash by supporters has urged the Emirates chiefs to sit up and listen.

Another defeat to City this week will have a huge sway over whether a decision will be made or not.
