Vincent Janssen is confident Tottenham is the right club for him.

Janssen's hero when he was growing up was Ruud van Nistelrooy.

And he has revealed that he spoke to the Manchester United legend when Tottenham met AZ Alkmaar's asking price.

He said: “I talked to Ruud. I want to keep everything he said between him and me because it was a big private talk.

“I tell you one thing: he thinks Spurs are a fantastic club and just right for me."
