James Rodriguez is counting on a summer return to Real Madrid.

And the Bayern Munich midfielder has already confessed his hopes to Colombia teammate Yerry Mina.

Don Balon says Mina has told Barcelona teammates enquiring about James that he badly misses Spain and is desperate to leave Bayern at the end of this season.

James in the first of a two year loan at Bayern, but hopes to cut it short this summer and return.

The midfielder has been assured by Real president Florentino Perez that such a move can happen - though everything will depend on coach Zinedine Zidane.

James and Zidane never saw eye-to-eye at Madrid and the only way the midfielder could return is if Zidane leaves - which is looking more and more likely.
