James Rodriguez's stunning start to his Premier League career with Everton has heaped pressure on Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

James was snapped up by Everton on a free transfer after being frozen out by Zizou in Madrid.

And the way he's kicked off his time in England, inspiring his new team to the top of the table, has many inside Real questioning Zidane's man-management skills, reports Marca.

Everton were able to nick James away from Real on a free with the Spanish giants eager to clear his €10m salary off their books, knowing he was surplus to requirements for Zidane.

His Colombia coach Carlos Quieroz, referring to the No10 role, said this week: "At Everton he plays like we do, with total freedom.

"It is his position, the place that corresponds to him since he stood out in Porto."
