Manchester United star Daniel James has admitted the difficulty of his father passing away recently.
James completed his move to United from Swansea this week, signing a five year contract with the Premier League giants.
However, the Wales international admitted that he was feeling some sadness at the fact his father had died only a few weeks ago.
The 21-year-old said after signing with the club: "This is an incredibly proud moment for me and my family.
"However, it is tinged with sadness that my father isn't able to share this experience with us.
"I am looking forward to working with Ole, meeting the team and getting started.
"The Premier League is the best league in the world and Manchester United is the perfect place for me to continue to develop as a player."
James signed a £67,000-a-week deal with United, according to The Sun.
