Jamal Baptiste was proud to make his West Ham debut in their FA Cup win against Doncaster Rovers.

The defender was a second-half substitute for the 4-0 win.

He told the club's website: "I'm over the moon.

"It's what I wanted. I've been working hard for the Under-23s and I got my opportunity today so I took it.

"It's a big achievement to have been playing in the FA Youth Cup before Christmas and gone on to play in the FA Cup now

"I just want to thank all my family, all my coaches at West Ham, just everyone that has helped me to get here.

"Everything has been going upwards at the moment. I want to keep working hard and keep going in the right direction."
