Jamaica international Johnson confident of making impact with Houston Dynamo

Jason Johnson feels his transition to life in MLS will be made easier by the fact there are already some Jamaican boys at his club.

The 22-year old forward one-time capped Jamaica international was taken by the Houston Dynamo with pick number 13 in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft on Thursday and he is looking to make an immediate impact alongside the likes of Je-Vaughn Watson, Jermaine Taylor and Omar Cummings.

"I think the transition is already made knowing that I already have Jamaicans on that team," Johnson said. "I think it will take less time for me to transition culture-wise and just socially.

"This is such a big surprise. I think I can [make an impact immediately]."
