Jaime Mata proved the matchwinner for Getafe at Trabzonspor to take their qualifying chances for the Europa League Round of 32 to the final day.

After a nervy first half by both sides, Jose Bordalas' men took the lead five minutes after the interval.

Kenedy found Mata inside the Trabzonspor box and the latter unleashed a shot to beat the opposition goalkeeper and open the scoring.

Getafe controlled the game in the final moments, as the Turkish side were unable to get the equaliser and Bordalas' team left the Senol Gunes Stadium with all three points.

After their win in Turkey, Getafe only need a single point in their last group stage game against Krasnodar to secure qualification to the knockout stages.
