Derby County have secured the services of veteran centre-back Phil Jagielka.
The former England and Sheffield United man has agreed to a short-term contract with the troubled Championship club.
Derby believe they can finalise the paperwork before Tuesday, per Sky Sports, so that Jagielka can play against Hull City on Wednesday.
The club, who are managed by Wayne Rooney, are also seeking to replace Colin Kazim-Richards with Reading striker Sam Baldock due to an injury.
Baldock is a free agent, but Derby must gain EFL permission due to a strict transfer embargo.
