Everton defender Phil Jagielka is set to win a bumper pay-rise.

The Sun says Jagielka will see his wages rise from £25,000 to around £40,000 a week, bringing him in line with the higher earners.

The centre-half, 26, bought from Sheffield United for £4million 18 months ago, has been outstanding this term and made a full England debut against Spain.
