Jadon Sancho: Quitting Man City for BVB was right choice

Jadon Sancho says he hasn't looked back since moving to Borussia Dortmund.

The former Manchester City and Watford junior is now part of England's senior squad.

“Not everyone is comfortable moving from home," he admitted. “If you're ready to play abroad and you believe in yourself, why not? I'd recommend it.

"I believe in myself, so moving to Germany didn't faze me.

“I can't just go down the road and see my friends, but it's what I want to do long-term: to be a professional footballer you have to do what you have to do to make myself and my family happy.

“Moving from home was the biggest — eaving my mum and my sisters behind. I miss them a lot. It was very tough, especially my mum. But if you really believe in yourself, you have to do what's best for you.

“This call-up means a lot to me, especially my family. I always dreamed of playing for my country when I was a young kid. It's the biggest thing for me. My dad was a big fan of John Barnes. He had a couple of videos of him and growing up I'd watch them."
