Jacob admits Portsmouth could sell more players

Portsmouth chief Mark Jacob cannot rule out more sales in January to lighten the club's wage bill.

Jacob is confident of having their transfer ban lifted "next week'.

And on potential player sales, he also told the Guardian: "You've identified the issue quite clearly which is the fact that the wage bill at the club is fortunately - or unfortunately - quite substantial. That's been built up over a period of time - we are not going to be able to drastically reduce the wage bill overnight."
