Jackson lands spot on New England Revolution roster

New England Revolution have signed goalkeeper Larry Jackson.

The 23-year old Santa Clara University alumni has joined the Revs roster after a number of try-outs with other MLS clubs.

Jackson, who had spells with Chivas USA and Colorado Rapids last year, was delighted to finally get his MLS chance even if it is being third choice behind Brad Knighton and Bobby Shuttleworth.

"It's been a long road, on so many teams and try-outs, so it's great to end up at a place like this," said Jackson.

"There is so much heart and dedication here (at New England). Everyone has been great so far.

"I have been training so hard in the past couple of years, at so many levels, so it's so rewarding to have signed here."
