Jack Harper has left Brighton to return to Spain.

Former Real Madrid starlet Harper has joined Malaga after an unsuccessful spell with Brighton.

Brighton Under-23s coach Simon Rusk said: "Jack's been a pleasure to work with, but despite his best efforts, he has struggled to break through into an extremely competitive first-team group.

"This move back to Spain gives him the opportunity to reignite his career. I would like to thank Jack for his hard work and to wish him well for the future on behalf of everyone at our club."
