Jose Izquierdo is very close to a return with Brighton.

The Colombian winger has been a big miss for Chris Hughton's side in the past few months.

The 26-year-old has only managed nine Premier League appearances so far this season.

He suffered a knee injury that has kept him out for longer than expected.

But he is getting closer to making his comeback, per the manager.

Hughton revealed to reporters: "We are hoping he is going to train this morning, which would be a major plus for us.

"Then it's him getting as many training sessions in to build up his levels."
