Arsenal could be boosted by the availability of Alex Iwobi for this weekend's clash with Southampton.

The Gunners host the Saints at the Emirates on Saturday and it is understood that talented forward Iwobi could return to Arsene Wenger's match day squad, according to the Daily Mirror.

Iwobi, 20, has not played since suffering a hip injury that forced him off in the second half of the opening day loss to Liverpool.

The presence of the Nigerian youngster will give Arsene Wenger further options in attack with Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud and new signing Lucas Perez all ready for action.
