Branislav Ivanovic says he's always felt welcome at Chelsea.
Acknowledging his low-key entrance to English football, Ivanovic believes that once he crossed the white line, he became no different to any of Chelsea's high-profile signings of recent years.
"The situation is different for us when we arrive without a big name, but the aim is the same for all the players. We all give everything for the team and try to win every game - it doesn't matter where you come from or who you were when you arrived here, you have the same aim as every other player," the Serbian told Chelsea magazine.
"If you come here and already have a name, you have to show that you deserve this reputation. The aim is actually the same - you have to deserve to be on the pitch.
"Three points is still three points no matter who you are. Chelsea win or lose based on how well we play - everyone here knows this.
"Here we have a fantastic squad, but we all give everything for the team. we all come here by a different way, but we want the same things as a team."
