Italy coach Roberto Mancini says Brescia striker Mario Balotelli could make the Euros squad next year.

Mancini insists the door isn't shut on the flamboyant forward.

"For the qualities he had and has, Mario is among the best centre-forwards," Mancini told Sky Sport Italia. “But that's not enough.

“He didn't do much in Brescia this year either and he knows it. His hope is to bring back the Mario from City or the Euro 2012.

“The doors are open for everyone."
