IT'S OFF! Man Utd look at alternatives due to Rabiot wage demands

Adrien Rabiot will not be joining Manchester United this summer.

United had been trying to sign the Juventus midfielder amidst their failing start to the season.

The two clubs had agreed on a transfer fee for the France international.

However, the BBC reports that the deal broke down due to wages, with Rabiot demanding more than United were willing to pay.

The Red Devils were going to make Rabiot one of their highest paid players.

The deal could be revived, however United are now looking at alternatives.
