Jon Toral's loan spell with Birmingham City begun in brilliant fashion.
The 20-year-old Spanish midfielder, who is on a season-long loan from Arsenal, appeared in the first seven matches of the Championship campaign for the Blues.
During that time Toral scored twice and provided two assists but since then, has been out of Gary Rowett's plans.
Toral has not featured for Birmingham in the league since the end of September, spending the last four matches on the bench, during which time the West Midlands outfit have won three times.
Perhaps it is a ploy to keep the youngster fresh or perhaps Toral's form is not warranting any game time from Rowett who seems to have found a winning a combination over the past few weeks.
Nevertheless, the Gunners youngster will be hoping for a run-out in Tuesday night's trip to Bolton so he can rediscover the touch that saw him one of Rowett's first picked earlier in the campaign.
