Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal could be back prior to the end of the season as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
The 23-year old has been sidelined since sustaining ankle ligament damage against Rangers in late December for which he required surgery.
It was felt he would be out for at least four months which would force him to miss the rest of the campaign but Israel national team boss Eli Guttman indicated that Kayal could be back for both club and country before the summer.
"He told me he expected to play again this season and he'd be ready for our training camp in May.""I had a good meeting with Beram and he is very pleased with the rate of his recovery," Guttman said.
