Chelsea striker Islam Feruz struck the winner in victory over Blackburn Rovers U21s.
A great strike from Feruz midway through the first half was enough to give Dermot Drummy's side victory.
The hosts had opportunities to extend the advantage throughout the first half but visiting goalkeeper David Raya kept the lead slender with a string of saves, before Blackburn improved after the break. Yet Chelsea remained in control and secured another important win.
