Ishizaki adapting nicely to MLS with LA Galaxy

Stefan Ishizaki is adjusting well to Major League Soccer after joining the LA Galaxy from Elfsborg at the start of the year.

The 31-year old Swedish midfielder has made four league appearances for the Galaxy since his arrival and has thus far scored one goal and two assists as he continues to get better with every minute he plays in the North American top flight.

Ishizaki produced a lovely cross for Robbie Keane's winner in the weekend's 1-0 victory over Vancouver Whitecaps and he feels he is really beginning to feel comfortable in his new environment.

"As you play more games, you get more comfortable on the pitch. The more that I play with all my teammates, I get a better feel for them and they get a feel for me," said Ishizaki.

"I'm still not 100 percent or on the top of my form yet, but it's getting better.

"For me it's just getting into better shape and being at my peak physically because I know what my soccer skills are like.

"I just need to get more fit and [play] more games...Hopefully I can do good stuff here."

The Galaxy recorded their second win of the season on the weekend to currently sit sixth on the Western Conference table.
