A friend of Real Madrid star Isco has hit out at coach Santiago Solari on social media.

Despite Madrid's injury crisis, Isco was not even brought on for the win at Real Betis, with a number of reserve team players and youngsters picked ahead of him.

Friend of the player, Aitor Costa, exploded in a rage on social media and lashed out at Solari for his reluctance to select the Spain international.

"Solari has the same idea of football as I do of engineering," he wrote on Instagram, then describing the Madrid boss as a "murderer of football".

Costa's profile shows a number of pictures of him alongside Isco.
