Iraqi keeper Jalal signs new Bournemouth deal

Shwan Jalal has agreed a new three-year contract with League One Bournemouth. The Baghdad-born stopper has lost his place in the Cherries starting XI to Darryl Flahavan this season, but boss Lee Bradbury believes the 28-year-old has what it takes to cut it in the Championship.

"I think Shwan can be a Championship keeper and we want him to achieve that at this club and that is reflected in the length of the deal," Bradbury told the club's official website.
