Ipswich Town boss Mick McCarthy is set to make an offer to Jack Collison.
Collison was released from West Ham United over the summer and spent preseason with QPR.
The Daily Star says Ipswich are set to sign free agent Collison, 25, on a deal until January after he impressed in training.
