Ipswich Town boss Paul Lambert was satisfied with their 3-0 friendly defeat to Tottenham.'
Blues fell to a 3-0 defeat, with all three goals coming in the opening half an hour - two from Heung-Min Son and one from Ryan Sessegnon, who opened the scoring in North London.
"There are some positives to take from that performance, that's for sure" Paul told iFollow Ipswich.
"We lost the goals through mistakes, and when you're up against top players they will punish you.
"But I was pleased because we stuck to how we want to play. They tried to play with a style and identity and that's something to be proud of against a side like this.
"Games like this are an excellent test for the players and I think we're getting an understanding of how we can play. That's something we need to take in to the friendlies, and then the season."
