Ipswich boss Roy Keane is confident of extending the loan of Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback.
Colback has been a regular since arriving at Portman Road in August and manager Roy Keane is set to extend the deal until the summer after contacting his Black Cats counterpart Steve Bruce.
"I have spoken to Brucie and hopefully Jack will be here until the end of the season," said Keane.
"Jack's done well for us and he has a chance of being a top player. He has the right sort of character.
"There are a lot of good players out there but it`s character that makes you a top player."
