Ipswich boss Roy Keane will be seeking an outstanding bonus from former club Sunderland if they beat the drop, it has been revealed.

The Sunderland Echo says the former Black Cats manager wants assurances from the club over a potential bonus he feels entitled to, relating to SAFC keeping their place in the Premier League this season.

The Irish Independent newspaper quoted him as saying: "I have one or two legal issues with Sunderland to sort out."

SAFC has declined to comment on the issue. However, it is believed club bosses would strongly defend any claim for cash or legal action, should it come to that.
