Pippo Inzaghi was proud of AC Milan in defeat to Fiorentina.

Mattia Destro gave Milan the lead before late goals from Gonzalo Rodriguez (82) and Joaquin (89) earned Fiorentina the three points.

"We went back to playing the kind of football we used to and today I saw My Milan," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.

"It's a huge shame, as even a draw would've been harsh on us, yet we lost a game that we deserved to win.

"You cannot allow a side like Fiorentina to stay in the game. It's a pity, but we have to look at the performance above all else. Tonight I could not have asked more from my players."
