Inzaghi hoping for big Lazio performance against Juventus

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is hoping for a big performance tonight against Juventus.

Lazio's title challenge has fallen away during the Serie A restart.

But Inzaghi said: “These two teams have had a great journey this season, it's going to a wonderful match, a difficult one, and we'll try to do our best," continued Inzaghi.

“Obviously, I expected it to be different when coming to this fixture. We thought that we'd be closer than eight points from Juve at this stage. Now we have to go forward and secure our main objective, which is Champions League qualification, something Lazio have been without for 13 years.

“We must try to do better next season. As I said after the draw with Udinese, I would've liked to play these post-lockdown games with the extra six players who are missing, so we could try to achieve something special. Playing every 48-72 hours, new problems emerge all the time."
