AC Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi was happy to give Alessandro Mastalli his debut for victory over Torino.

Milan enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win yesterday.

"I was moved, as Mastalli was my captain for the Allievi team, then the Primavera. He is the son every family would love to have," said Inzaghi.

"I had 25 players when I arrived for the Allievi and asked them all to write on a piece of paper who ought to be captain. Out of 25 bits of paper, 24 of them said Mastalli.

"He thanked me 15 times tonight, but the truth is he doesn't need to thank me. He deserves this."
