Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with the character shown for their Coppa Italia final victory over Fiorentina.
Lautaro struck twice as Inter won 2-1 on Wednesday night. Nico Gonzalez had Fiorentina ahead on three minutes.
“I am happy, because we won a cup that we wanted, to confirm what we did last season. Fiorentina are a quality team who caused us a lot of problems," Inzaghi told Mediaset.
“We started badly and had the wrong approach, which is rare for us, but the lads did well to stay in the game anyway and then turn it around."
This season, Inter have now retained both the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana and face Manchester City in the Champions League Final on June 10.
Inzaghi added, “We have the final two Serie A games, then Istanbul and a great season we want to keep going."
