Inverness boss Butcher scoops November prize along with playing duo

Inverness Caledonian Thistle's Terry Butcher has won the Scottish Premier League's November Manager of the Month award.

Butcher has led Caley to third on the SPL table following a successful November which yielded three wins, a draw and a loss.

Additionally, Inverness striker Billy McKay landed the Player of the Month award for scoring four league goals plus one in the Scottish Cup draw with Ross County whilst winger Aaron Doran was named the Young Player of the Month.

"It's a great boost for everyone at the club that we've swept the boards in the latest awards series," said Butcher.

"Our successful sequence has obviously played its part in drawing attention to us. It's nice to be honoured and we're keen to maintain momentum.

"Billy McKay has been scoring goals for fun, as he showed at Ross County last Saturday, while Aaron Doran has been in very exciting form out wide for us.

"But they both pay tribute to their team-mates for giving them the oportunity to express their talents and make such an impact."
