INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONS CUP: Ibrahimovic on target as PSG down Man Utd

Paris Saint-Germain have defeated Manchester United 2-0 in the final match of the North America leg of the 2015 International Champions Cup.

First-half goals from Blaise Matuidi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have Laurent Blanc's French champions their third victory from four matches in the USA, allowing them to lift the trophy Soldier Field in Chicago.

Matuidi opened the scoring in the 25th minute when he raced onto a ball from Maxwell to poke beyond David De Gea before Ibra made it 2-0 less than 10 minutes later when he played a neat one-two with Maxwell before finishing the Brazilian's leftwing cross.

It was a deserved victory for PSG who made life difficult for United's midfield, particularly Bastian Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick, and came away with a fairly solid performance against a Red Devils outfit who were below par.
