Inter Milan are urging Chievo Verona not to sell striker Victor Obinna to Fiorentina.

Inter president Massimo Moratti fell out with Fiorentina's Della Valle family over his pursuit of Luca Toni and now is determined not to see Obinna, who was brought to Italy by the Serie A champs, move to Florence.

For his part, Chievo president Luca Campedelli has already stated he wants to hang onto Nigeria international Obinna for their coming season in Serie B.
