Inter Milan won't shut door on Chelsea's Lampard

Despite wrapping up a deal for Portsmouth midfielder Sulley Muntari, Inter Milan haven't shelved their bid for Chelsea's Frank Lampard.

The Sun says the Italian giants have not given up on the England midfield star after having an £8million bid for Lampard rejected.

It is understood they will keep the door open for Lamps if Chelsea decide to do business before the end of the transfer window.

The ex-West Ham star, 30, has only one year left on his current deal and turned down Chelsea's offer to extend it.

He is now expected to sit out the remaining year of his contract before moving to Italy next summer.
