Inter Milan want to keep hold of Alexis Sanchez next season.

Tuttosport says the Nerrazzurri are keen to extend the loan of the Manchester United striker for another 12 months.

If Alexis can prove his fitness in the remaining weeks of the extended Serie A season, Inter will seek talks with United about a new loan arrangement.

The sticking point will be the wage arrangement. Currently United pay €7m of Alexis' €12m salary - a situation which will need to be settled between the two clubs.

For his part, Alexis has shown no interest in accepting a pay-cut to assist negotiations.
