Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti expects Jose Mourinho to eventually return.

The former Manchester United manager was linked with a return to Inter before their appointment of Antonio Conte last summer.

But Zanetti told Marca: "If I want to see José Mourinho again on the bench of Inter? Knowing Jose (Mourinho), he is waiting for a great opportunity in a big club.

"He lives for football with passion and is a well-prepared coach who brings back good memories. If I see him coming back to Real Madrid? I do not know. He was already there and knows, without a doubt, the house. But before making a decision, he will take the time to analyze. He is a technician cut to make great things."
