Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti has no doubts about the impact Beppe Marotta will make.

Former Juventus GM Marotta was named Inter's sporting CEO yesterday.

Zanetti said: "What can Marotta give us? Today's an important day for the club. Here comes a manager with great experience and expertise. There are the conditions for doing a great job together."

Of his own role, the Argentine added: "I like this role that I have in the club and I try to transmit all the work that Inter has taught me."
