Inter Milan vice-president Javier Zanetti says this season's title is a victory for Antonio Conte.

Zanetti admits Conte's appointment transformed the club.

“This victory was born two years ago, when Antonio Conte and his staff crossed the gates of our home Appiano Gentile," he posted to social media.

“They brought a top-level work culture. They began to convey a great winning mentality. All they do all day is to think about how they can improve the team.

“The group has followed this incredible path, with great professionality and overcoming some difficulties. They've always believed in the work we've carried out together.

“This Scudetto is their merit.

“You wrote a new, marvellous and important page in the history of this club, making millions of fans happy.

“Them, the fans, our beating heart since always: they've never abandoned us.

“Coach, staff, players: as the vice president I know how hard it was to get to the finish line.

“For this, I want to thank you from my heart for allowing me to accompany you on this glorious journey.
