Inter Milan are prioritising a January deal for Chelsea fullback Marcos Alonso.

Having worked with Alonso as Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte is eager for a reunion at Inter.

Gazzetta dello Sport says there's a confidence Inter can strike a loan arrangement with Chelsea for Alonso next month.

The same proposal has been offered to Chelsea teammate Olivier Giroud.

However, the France striker is demanding an 18 month contract, something which the Nerazzurri have refused to entertain.
