Inter Milan are threatening to trump Juventus for their long-term transfer target Michel Bastos.
The Olympique Lyon wing-back has been on Juve's shopping list for the past 12 months and was expected to move to Turin once they cleared a foreign slot in their squad this summer.
However, TMW says Inter are now in advanced talks to land Bastos - with midfielder McDonald Mariga moving in the opposite direction.
Bastos represents the type of wide player favoured by new Inter coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
